Welcome to the Non-StarLink Farmer Litigation website. UPDATES *SETTLEMENT APPROVED - On April 7, 2003, the Honorable United States District Judge James B. Moran approved the Settlement of the Non-StarLink Farmer Actions in all respects. That approval became final and non-appealable on May 8, 2003. *SETTLEMENT DISTRIBUTION APPROVED - On September 2, 2004, the Honorable United States District Judge James B. Moran approved the Settlement Distribution Order of the Non-StarLink Farmer Actions in all respects. *THE CLAIMS PROCESS IS NOW CLOSED - Beginning October 21, 2004, Pre-Notification letters indicating the claimant(s) distribution amount will be mailed over a four week period to each claimant whose claim was determined to be eligible in whole or part of the Non-StarLink Farmer Litigation. *A Pre-Paid Visa card issued by Bank One will be sent to these claimants following the Pre-Notification letter. Click here for more information on the Bank One Pre-Paid Visa Card. *In addition, under the terms of the Settlement Agreement, claimants whose claim(s) calculated to a total loss of $25.00 or less are not eligible to receive distributions from the Net Settlement Fund as approved by the court. This point was also explained in the Notice of Pendency of Class Action. In an effort to enable as many eligible claimants as possible to share in the settlement proceeds, the parties to the action have agreed to issue Pre-Paid Visa cards through Bank One in the amount of $20.00 for each eligible claimant whose claim(s) calculated to a total loss of $25.00 or less.
